I had the pleasure of meeting Pastor Mao and his wife Akum. They warmly invited me into their home and shared their love of Jesus Christ and His Word. After reading much of the First Baptist Church website, I am impressed with the richness and diversity of their history, especially that of the pastor and his wife. May they continue o bring the Christian message to the people of Nagaland, India, their birthplace.

Dear Mr. Earle, We are truly sorry to see that you feel our church is racist, and frankly, it is difficult to understand why someone might feel this way. Our present membership includes people of Puerto Rican, Korean, Indian, Chinese and African American descent. In addition, our history is rich with ethnic diversity. For example...In the early '80’s, we invited New Fellowship Baptist Church, an African American church looking for a building where they could worship, to share our church building with us. For many, many years, we enjoyed a wonderful relationship with this church, sharing many dynamic worship and music services and have made lasting friendships that continue to this day. New Fellowship moved to Nashua, NH in the '90s when they were given a building by the Police Athletic League of Nashua. In addition, when Pastor Jim Harrington retired in 2013, our search committee found the best candidate to meet our needs, Pastor Moa Imchen. Pastor Imchen, originally from Nagaland, India, is a dynamic and wonderful preacher, pastor and mentor. We invite you to meet him personally and to consider worshipping with us.
